TAMPA BAY HOSPICE CUP

You may know this event from its 39-year history as the Morgan Invasion. The race organizers teamed up with the Davis Island Yacht Club and Hillsborough and Pinellas County Hospice Organizations to make this event a marquee regatta for the west coast of Florida. We had an excellent debut event in May 2013, an even bigger events the next three years. We invite all racers and cruisers from the sailing community to support this great cause at our next regatta on April 13, 2024!

MORE ABOUT US AND THE EVENT

The Tampa Bay Hospice Cup is open to both Morgan and non-Morgan sailboats. With a strong focus on sailing camaraderie, the event caters to cruising enthusiasts that just want to come out and be part of a fun regatta. In addition to the traditional Morgan Invasion fleets, the regatta also features open non-Morgan fleets for PHRF, Multi-hulls, and a cruiser-friendly "Just-for-Fun" casual fleet.

"Davis Island Yacht Club is proud to partner with Charley Morgan to create an exciting new event around the long-running Morgan Invasion," said Past Commodore Bob Crawford. "Everyone knows the great work done by Hospice and how important it is to Tampa Bay. We are dedicated to supporting this great cause and making this a 'can't miss' event on the Tampa Bay sailing calendar." Proceeds from the regatta will benefit patients and families of Tampa Bay Area Hospice Organizations.
